We finally checked out the local Mexican restaurant near us! This is pretty much your run of the mill Mexican restaurant, which is exactly what we were looking for. Their menu is extensive with all your favorite dishes- tacos, poblanos, quesadillas, enchiladas, etc. They also have great prices on margaritas and draft beer!
Our waitress was sweet and attentive. We were served complimentary chips and salsa right when we sat down. We also ordered cheese dip, which was your standard delicious white queso with chips. For our entrees, I ordered the taco salad with shredded chicken and the fiancé ordered enchiladas suizas. His plate was huge, served with rice and beans. My taco salad was yummy, topped with guac, sour cream, and tomatoes.
Don't expect anything fancy from Taxco, but it is a great place to get fast, easy Mexican food. They could definitely spruce the inside up a little bit. But overall, our bill was super inexpensive, and we left extremely full. I'm sure we will be back! -

I asked for a forth steak tacos to add to the normal order of three and it looked like they took the meat out of the other three to make the forth. Fed up with it after two years of average service and Mexican food that would sadden their ancestors. Growing up in Arizona I see stark differences in the care and quality of the food. I don't expect 5 stars but three would be nice

I am in this area all the time because I love Aldis so at list once a week I am around.
I've seen this place so many times but never given than a chance until last weekend.
My husband and I were shopping and decide to grab a bite somewhere close so he had the idea to try them out.
We got there around 6pm and the place was not that busy. We were sat right away and the waitress brought us chips and salsa.
I had 2 beef tostadas and my husband had chicken chimichanga.
Those were the hugest tostadas I ever had in my life! They were pretty good and I felt really satisfied after eating them.
My husband liked his food. I tried his chimichanga and really enjoyed the bite I had.
On the back of their menu they have an explanation about what is eat dish they serve, I thought it was really cool!
Price, decoration and service are average for the type of restaurant.
They are totally worth the try! -

I stopped in for just a taco. But I instead ordered an horchata and two beef Chile Poblanos. The horchata was very thin and fairly bland. When I went to cut into my poblanos it was cheese. I complained and he said that's how they come. But I said their menu states beef or cheese. And this didn't even have beef in it. He kept deflecting. I got upset and said if I order a beef Chile Poblanos that is what I expect to get. I said I would just pay for the horchata and that's it, because he said they could throw some beef on top. That's just wrong. I left disgruntled. Won't be back.

The chicken soup keeps me and my boyfriend coming back....but for me personally, it's their salsa, tacos, and combo meals!! Their environment is borderline typical mexican restaurant, but it's ideal for anyone looking for that type of environment. Family friendly, crowd friendly, couple friendly, etc. The wait staff is attentive, friendly, and the prices are right. Definitely one of my favorite mexican restaurants in the area.
